Banner Elk Town Park

The charming village of
Banner Elk NC is very
family friendly and full
of things to do. Spend
the day browsing the downtown
stores, have
lunch at The Banner Elk
Café or Dunn's Deli and
then head over to Tate
Evans Park to enjoy a
great day outdoors. The park
is located behind the
Bank of America building
off Highway 194 and
features a lovely play
area, doggy area, a ¼
mile walking path, a
quiet stream, gardens,
pavilions, picnic
tables, grills and sound
playground equipment.
During the summer months,
visitors and locals can
bring blankets and
chairs and enjoy
the summer concerts in
the park sponsored by
the Banner Elk
Chamber
of Commerce. These free
concerts take place on
Thursday evenings
throughout the months of
July and August and
usually start around
6:30 p.m. Food vendors
offer yummy treats, however, you
are welcome to bring
your own food or evening
picnic. These concerts
are always a great time to unwind, dance and
socialize while
listening to great
music.
