center for the enjoyment
of club members and
Beech Mountain guests. You
will have plenty to do
at the Buckeye
Recreation Center
whether it's playing a
game of tennis on the
indoor tennis court,
basketball court,
volleyball, toning up in
the fitness center, walking
the track, or utilizing
the meeting rooms and
kids' playroom. A small
fee is charged for the
use of the 22,500 square
foot Buckeye Recreation
Center.
With Buckeye Lake as the
centerpiece of the
facility, the area
surrounding Buckeye
Recreation Center is
breathtaking and a great
place to recharge or
unwind.
Buckeye Lake
also extends the list of
Beech Mountain
activities to include
fishing and hiking
opportunities.
The recreation center
holds seasonal
informational
get-togethers teaching
such things as cookie
making, holiday
glassware decoration,
fudge making, and cookie
ornament classes. The
Beach Mountain Club
recently raised funds to
build a children's
playground, adding to
the long list of
amenities to enjoy at
the Buckeye Recreation
Center and the beautiful
