Banner Elk, July 3
Presented by the Banner Elk Chamber of Commerce: The Parade will start at 11:00 on Saturday, July 3rd, at the Lees-McRae College Library and end at the Evans Tate (Banner Elk) Town Park.
There will be games (including rubber duck races), food and crafters in the park. So...make plans to spend some time and have lots of fun in the park after the parade!
Blowing Rock, July 3
Fireworks in Blowing Rock will begin at 9:30 p.m. at the Blowing Rock Country Club.
Boone, July 3
Boone’s fireworks display will begin between 9:15 and 9:30 PM at the fields across from the National Guard Armory on Hunting Hills Lane. For more info, call 828-262-4530.
Ashe County Park, July 4
Fireworks in Ashe County will begin at dark at Ashe County Park in Jefferson. For more info, call 336-846-5501.
Tweetsie Railroad, July 4
Spend the day at Tweetsie Railroad and watch its fireworks display after the park closes at 9:00 p.m. Parking is $5 per car, with no parking charge for Golden Rail Season Pass holders. For more info, call 800-526-5740.
