| Genesis Wildlife Sanctuary Hosts Hoot'Nanny |

Genesis Wildlife Sanctuary will host Hoot'Nanny, a family-friendly festival, on Saturday, July 31, from 12:00 Noon to 5 PM at the Buckeye Recreation Center in Beech Mountain.
The festival, a fundraiser for the sanctuary, will feature live music from The Corklickers, a wildlife game show for kids, face-painting, birdhouse building, door prizes, food, vendors, a bounce house and tours of the sanctuary. Tickts are $5 for kids and $10 for adults.
Genesis has been a well-known and important non-profit in the High Country since 1983. The organization has rescued and cared for more than 7,000 animals over the last decade alone, and its educational programs have reached more than 50,000 people.
