 Sugar Mountain Ski Area
has over 20 trails and
is the perfect ski
resort for all levels of
skiers. Seven runs are
designated for
beginners, 10 are
perfect for intermediate
levels and 3 are expert
black diamond runs.

intermediates love Sugar
Mountain Ski Resort for
its many wide-open lane
runs and easy flowing
terrain. Expert skiers
can indulge in the moguled
runs like Tom Terrific
and Boulder Dash. Snowboarding is allowed
on all trails and most
runs are well lit
allowing for night
skiing. PSIA-certified
instructors offer both
group and private
lessons daily, as Sugar
Mountain NC has some of

terrain that can be
found in the Southeast.

just two miles east of
Banner El
NC, and just one
mile off Highway 105. In
addition to phenomenal
skiing conditions, a
great snowboarding
terrain park, 10,000
square-foot outdoor ice
skating rink, and a
massive tubing area,
Sugar Mountain Resort is
also home to a massive
base lodge which houses
everything you need to
enjoy your vacation, all

located on the same
level as the highway,
